2-1-1 Wisconsin

Every month thousands of people across Wisconsin turn to 2-1-1 for information and support—whether financial, domestic, health or disaster-related. 2-1-1 is a simple, free, confidential referral and information helpline and website that link people from all communities and ages to the essential health and human services they need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By dialing 2-1-1 or visiting the website from anywhere in the state of Wisconsin, people are linked to information about local resources, from both government and nonprofit organizations. From the single parent seeking food for their children to the senior citizen looking for in-home care, 2-1-1 brings people and community resources together.

Did you know Allouez once had a polo field, a bicycle factory, an orphanage and a brewery? Or that it was home to the first courthouse in Wisconsin? Explore the history of the first American settlement of importance west of Lake Michigan.

Neighborhood Watch

Empowering Allouez residents to work together to make their neighborhoods safer.  The Village of Allouez Neighborhood Watch program is looking to connect with current Neighborhood Watch groups and/or create new Neighborhood Watch groups. Interested residents establish groups by contacting the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Allouez Directed Enforcement Officer and scheduling an initial meeting with neighbors to establish a contact list and talk about any concerns in the neighborhood.  The Neighborhood Watch program is a great way to get to know your neighbors and work with law enforcement to better the community.  If you know of a current Neighborhood Watch group that would like to have a meeting or are interested in forming a new Neighborhood Watch in your neighborhood please contact Deputy Vogel at phone number 920-448-2800 Ex. 109 or by e-mail at vogel_jp@co.brown.wi.us
